My tour group stopped at one of the trails in Strathmashie Forest around Laggan to stretch our legs and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Strathmashie is a community forest, along the A86 and right beside the road is the Pattack Falls. Really worth spending time hiking through the forest and admiring the beautiful, natural forest and water way. Tall Pines tower over the fast flowing water below and make for a great photo setting.

Just thought I would write a review regarding this walk, we attempted this walk from both directions, unfortunately the walk is completely blocked now by many fallen trees, it is impossible to get past them. We had to take a detour but couldn't pick up the signs to pick up the walk again. Had to abandon the planned route and... More

Pattack Falls and the surrounding gorge area is a must if you are in the area. Located on the right hand side (when travelling north) of the A86 about 2.5 miles from the northern shore of Loch Laggan.
