The Spey Valley Championship Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 72 course that meanders through ancient Caledonian pine forests and along the banks of the sparkling River Spey. Some of our holes are famous for their outstanding natural beauty; our 5th hole boasts the longest hole in Scotland (at 635 yards) and our 6th spans a lake which has been adopted as a nesting site by a bird colony. When you reach the 12th at the start of the home stretch, the Spey Valley opens up before you like a film set, whilst the 16th presents a real challenge for even the most experienced golfer. You'll need a long, accurate tee shot to carry the water hazard and the flowering purple heather is standing by to punish a poor shot. However, the most spectacular of all has to be the 18th; with its two bunkers designed to mirror the undulating corries of the mountains beyond, this is our raison d'être.

Not that cheap, but then something special shouldnt be cheap, the Spey Valley Golf Course snakes its way along the river Spey, indeed when the rain blasts down sometimes the Spey comes up and floods parts of the course, but that doesn't happen too often....More

A great test for any golfer. Which probably explains why this course is used on the European challenger tour. It may boast a hefty green fee in some publications, but if you are staying in the area for a week or so, deals are to...More

Spey Valley is definitely a course to play in the summer, always a late developer because of the weather. Once ready it is one of the finest in the Highlands, a long testing but fair course with the longest par 5 in Scotland. Have played...More

I have played numerous course both in the UK and abroad and would rate this as one of the toughest I've ever played. We were fortunate to play on a beautiful windless sunny day and the course was in excellent condition. The views as others...More

A nice course but make sure you have lots of balls! Challenging holes with very little room for error. Liked the picturesque nature of the course. The clubhouse was lovely so worth make use of this.
