We did a few tours of distilleries, this was our favorite. Unfortunately, the bottle of very good scotch we bought was taken by Gatwick Airport in England. We were so sad, as we cannot buy this one in the States. It's well worth visiting here!

The guide is very knowledgeable and does a great job. Fun way to spend 1.5 hours.withnzero alcohol tolerance when driving, the driver will not be permitted to taste scotch but will recieve a small nip bottle as a takeaway.

These guys haven't dressed up their distillery for the tourists, what you see is a proper working distillery without all the pretty bits. We did the 2.5hr tour and found the information very genuine.

Just wondering what the best way to get from the hotels to the Distillery's if you are staying in Inverness? Is there public transport to get you there?

Hi there, thanks for your enquiry. From Inverness you can reach Tomatin by taxi easily, or there is a Stagecoach bus (34/34X), and some of the Citylink/Megabuses can stop on their way past. For up to date times and bus... More
