Small but interesting place, some history and some art. We enjoyed it. Very near the castle just off the main road in Inverness.

The Museum is a very interesting place for a visitor of Inverness. It shows many things such as anthropology, geology - how the Highlands were formed, the social life, the clans, the Jacobites wars and numerous other exhibits of a great interest.

Museum part was ordinary. No art gallery as change over was happening. No coffee shop happening either. I think they are gearing up for the tourist season.
