You need hours to complete this trip, leave first thing and plan ahead when it is going to be a clear day. You can spend hours hiking but then not get a view from the top. It has good walk ways, good parking facilities and...More

Had a great day climbing Ben Nevis, the weather was cold but the skies were blue. I took so may photos. Had the mountain to ourselves just my wife myself and the sheep. The country is so rugged. I loved it.

Rather a simple trek up the hill with a rather annoying path to follow- lost all our photographs due to SD card corruption so not the hill to blame. Rather simple and just acknowledge that it doesn’t end when you want it to. Hate to...More

Great afternoon distraction if you are in Fort William. You will need to start early if you want to hike to the top. But there are also great views from the hills.

Very imposing and impressive and a great place to explore. The contrast in the Highlands to the East Coast of Scotland was something to behold. We spent some time in and around the village and found a really quaint "diner" type of restaurant to eat...More

No kit needed even though it had been snowing a week. Long day 12 hours in the snow and temps around 0. But that view so worth it,

Hi Linda, I presume you are referring to Ben Nevis Range when you say on Fort William. I climbed in early November and my gut feeling on this would be an immediate No. There are so many ridges and areas of danger that one... More
