An 8 hour walk that was worth every ache & pain. Views are stunning but the journey down is harder than going up. We had 20' at the bottom but only 4 or 5 at the top so anyone thinking 9f doing it please bear...More

A great walk in beautiful scenery that's well worth doing if you have any interest in walking at all. There is only one downside, this is not for those who aren't fit, it's a demanding 5 hour walk to the top that should only be...More

Remember to dress and pack your bag weather appropriate. It may be sunny at the bottom but very cold at the top. Walking poles definitely help. If starting from Ben Nevis centre you need change for car park (£3). Allow between 7-9 hours to complete

Not easy at all, can be really busy. You need the proper footwear and waterproof, you should use layers that can easily go in a bag. Coming down is really difficult in places, hard on the knees.

Terrific climb with superb views, take time though and schedule for an early lunch or late dinner at the Inn.

This is not an easy climb even on the tourist routes but if you can make it up then do as it is the best feeling in the world

The views as you climb the mountain are spectacular and well worth the effort required to see them. This is a tough walk though- allow 3-5 hours to get to the top depending on fitness and then another 2-3 back down. A well deserved pint...More
