Having done the other lines, this is certainly the one, that does the sea and mountains of Scotland best. There are some truly stunning views. Much to be recommended, but even better if you can stay overnight in Plockton.

Canadian's in the maratimes don't have much in the way of a railway, this Railroad trip was a fun way to explore the place - and great scenery to be seen too

You can essentially request a seat if you make a higher class reservation. That seat is not guaranteed, but is likely your seat reservation. It would be confirmed closer to the journey. Some rail journeys don't take... More
