Great day out loads to see and do with the family. Kids loved the zip line and slides hidden around the woods. Toilet facilities could do with a revamp and more picnic tables. We... read more

Took Two adults and three kids costing £29 to the Halloween spectacular. What a disappointment for us all! Disorganised nothingness. Firstly delayed until a six pm start. Where we turned up and it was still being set up. We expected a spooky walk round the woods but got a dark walk through the woods to get told three stories at... More

We stayed in the West Barn for 3 nights, it was well equipped and just what we expected. We had a problem with the mattress and Mrs MacMillan came straight away to sort this out. The estate suited our needs as we had taken our dog who loved running round all the wooded areas exploring. Frazer was very helpful and... More

Wasnt till I was going up the drive that the pricing option came into view. £5 for adults and £3.50 per child. Have to be honest and say that I dont think the entrance fee offers value for money. Could have gone any number of other places and been £12 better off and had just as nice a day. So... More

We stayed in one of the barns on the Finlaystone Estate when we visited Glasgow last week. The barn was very clean, compact and had everything required for a self catering holiday. The bed was so comfortable and it had a wet room which was suitable for me as I am disabled. The kitchen was well equipped and had all... More

Aaargh me hearties.... Greenock Players Youth Section performed a salty sea tale on board the pirate ship. We had a blast being guests of finlaystone and can't wait to do it all again as part of the Witch and Wizards day on Sunday 14th August 1-3pm. Mwahaha

Visited here in the school summer holidays. 2 mums and 2 children aged 8 and 7. I was very surprised to read the café review of a party having a bad experience as for us we found the staff to be extremely helpful and polite. It was busy but food was served to our table very promptly. Food was nice... More

Having read the other reviews post-visit regarding the cafe I would like to add that I thought the cafe was very good contrary to what you could read here. I had read the reviews after visiting because I was trying to work out what we had missed on our visit as I was struggling to understand why I had paid... More
