Is this Britain's smallest brewery?

This is a lovely old inn which brews its own beer. You can buy it in the inn or at the little brewery next door. They only supply their beer to two inns so it is a privilege to be able to taste it. Nice vegetarian options on the menu.

We walked up to Moulin when we were staying at the Pitlochry Hydro Hotel. We enjoyed Lunch at the ancient ( est 1695 ) Moulin Hotel / Coaching Inn. Hubby had Haddock in crispy beer batter and I had Steak Pie in beer gravy...delicious ! The Braveheart Beer we ordered was brewed by the Moulin Microbrewery which is behind the... More

What a disappointment. Thought we would see a micro brewey at work - all we got was a worker who was totally disinterested and gave the impression he did not want us there. He said the brewery was owned by the Inn and beer could be bought there and nowhere else. He eventually admitted tat it was sold in two... More

The hotel - brewery complex is situated in a very pretty neuk of Perthshire, and the place itself is lovely, very traditional looking and well kept. Extremely busy, so it looks popular. The food looked amazing and the menu really was inviting although time constrains didn't allow us to stay for food. It smelled lovely though!! We tried half pints... More

It was a wet day: so we looked at the 'visitors' attractions' leaflet. My son likes beer so it seemed a good choice. However, we were terribly disappointed. There was a man at the brewery who ignored us: we asked at the hotel (where we did have a drink!) and they said they had no connection with the brewery. Everyone... More

My husband and I were only in town for one night. After walking along the river we decide to walk up the hill to The Old Mill Inn. It was quite a walk, but well worth it! I had the mushroom crepes and they were excellent! One of my favorite meals of our vacation. My husband had venison in beer... More

I'm not a beer drinker, but I appreciated the visit to this small brewery. It's managed by only one person, so he can be busy while he explains his job. Anyway, he was very happy to tell us about this place and how he brews his beer. Keep up the good work.
