A reasonably easy walk for most people incorporating a nice walk by the golf club (where you park), up woodland paths to a great viewing summit looking across to the higher mountains beyond. There's a couple of places that you could go off in the wrong direction along Forestry Commission tracks if you did not concentrate, but overall, it is... More

Used this hill to walk off our chip shop suppers on Friday evening! Left the car, on a piece of ground at the farm next to the golf course, which is actually the designated parking area, and walked up the pathway over the course until it runs along the top edge of the greens. Lovely views at this point and... More

We took the public footpath from the hotel to Moulin, along the side of the golf course, then up the steep section to the top. The views are very good, even on a late November day - they must be spectacular in summer. We returned via Pitlochry. Distance 11½ km, height ascended 352 metres.

a fantastic walk from pitlochry centre. it took us about 3 hrs for return walk however we sat at the top admiring the fantastic views to glance for about 40 mins. It is quite steep for the last 10 mins but worth it if visibility is good.

A pleasant hour or two walking around Craigower with excellent views. Could see the weather changing in the distance, which was ample warning to leave!

Very small carpark at the end of Craiglunie Road (holds 3-4 cars if parked well). Single track road so easier to park a bit further away and walk. Well signposted walk. First 1/2 mile is over a golf course so watch for golfers and balls. After that it's good paths with signposts. Once you get to the top there is... More

We started our journey at the fish and boathouse at the local loch. We passed through the golf course, with permission it is actually part of the trail, and up to the peak. The views are wonderful and exquisitely Scottish. The walk back follows along some peaceful sheep grazing land, and the Moulin hotel. That was a great spot for... More

Easy walk to this NTS viewpoint. Stunning views of the surrounding countryside and a good path all the way to the viewpoint.
