Craft Daft has been a go too place for me when I have my grandchildren. They are aged 13 to 5 years old and they all love to go. It can be a little pricey if they choose larger pieces to paint but if I manage to direct them to the cheaper range then I can be on average 10... More

Just revisited the newly refurbished Craft Daft in Cow Wynd. Really spacious, friendly and colourful. Only disappoint thought the choice of items to paint was a lot less, but this did not detract from the children still having an absolute brilliant time. Staff are so friendly, nothing too much trouble and very approachable and helpful. There is a choice of... More

Lovely , homely cooking. I would recommend the soup which is always homemade and served with a smile. Tucked away up a close it is compact but well worth seeking out - look for the lifesize cow at the entrance.Very reasonably priced.

I went here as a fun day out with friends. We had a great time. There is a wide selection of items to chose to paint. There is even the option of making pots yourself on a potters wheel. There is a choice of either painting with acrylic paint or proper glaze. With both a wide selection of colours are... More

Afternoon with my niece (6) at Craft daft. Warm welcome on arrival, table set out as I had pre booked. Plenty of pieces to choose from including Christmas items. No rush, relaxed atmosphere for all ages. Cost varies according to piece picked for decorating. Suitable for all ages. Small coffee, tea, juice bar (not included in price).

My children enjoy painting items at Craft Daft but really it is too expensive. I can understand that they have to run a venue and buy all the paints and ceramics etc, and it can't be easy making a profit, but I simply can't afford to take my children there again. There's a £4 sitting fee each and then you... More
