This wonderful section of coastline was very close to our rental. We didn’t even have to drive to the trailhead just hike down. Beautiful location now I see we could’ve hiked even further onto the peninsula. It was wet and boggy in quite a few spots so I guess that’s what stopped us. A cold and windy September Afternoon. Need to return. Love this kind of stuff.

Brother's Point for me is the most interesting highlight of the Isle of Skye. It may be a bit tough to find as you have to go through a fence and there is no big parking as with other places. After the fence you have to walk down between the sheep that are closely, a lovely activity as well. When down, you are at the coast and here you can find dinosaur steps (we saw 2), as in more locations in this area. The coast is lovely and so are the mountains. But then you have to walk 5-10 minutes further to get to the most important view; the real Brother's Point. You will feel so small next to it. Don't walk to far, as it can be very steep. It may be a bit less impressive (but it still is!) than Neist Point, but here you will be alone or with a few other people. This is fantastic.

Not easy to find! but persevere as the coastal views are stunning.
As with most of the Skye areas of natural beauty this is better if the weather is clear and dry.

Nice easy (Relatively) flat walk with coastal views.
Fine to walk in trainers and only took around 1 hour return so a good one to do while the sun shines as a let up from all the hills!
The car park is very small but the area is not as popular as other touristic areas so we didn’t have a problem parking

Our host at our BnB recommended this hike. So glad we took it. We had just came from the busy Old Man Storr so this was refreshing. Although completely different scenery from OMS. This is a along the coast with beautiful views if you continue up to the point. Loved walking among the sheep and their lambs. Have good hiking shoes, because you will walk on rocks and boggy areas, but that's the fun of a hike. We saw maybe 3 other people. Didn't know about the dinosaur prints til next day.

We did this hike in hope of seeing the dinosaur prints discovered here. I read that low tide was necessary to find them, I did not read that you have to have to be as brave as a trex to get to where you need to go. We made the beautiful hike down swiftly (I do mean down, descent about 50% of the way) then a rock hop along the beach on some uneven rocks before a small climb leaving you in a very boggy field on the cliffside. If you follow the trail you'll see the very narrow ridge that is not for people without a head for heights. I happen to be terrified of heights and I seriously contemplated doing the ridge. The only reason I did not was because it was incredibly muddy and slick. I attempted the first 10 feet and when I started to slide down to the cliffs, we turned back. It was still worth it. The views from here are breathtaking and rewarding. If you do wait for low tide you can rock hop out to the exposed rock floor and get a glimpse at some of the rock markings. For us it was cool to just be where the sauropods roamed. Be sure to save some energy for the climb back up. We took our tip with it and managed to make it back up with a couple of breaks to "admire the view". The path is wide so if you do happen to come across anyone else they can easily pass.

Skye has cliff scenery and broken headlands and rocky shores aplenty and this is certainly a very attractive walk on a decent day.The path out above the cliffs is very steep and might not suit everyone but to me a walk up to the Trig Point (above the houses) or on top of the first line of cliffs gives more spectacular views overall.

We had a great day out at Brothers Point. We weren’t sure what to expect. The walk was fairly easy at the start and a bit challenging on the second part but definitely well worth the effort. Walking boots advisable. Beautiful views of Kilt Rock in the distance. Loved it. Well worth a visit

This is a highly underrated walk, overlooked by most tourists and certainly not the easiest to find. The car park (if you can even call it that!) is in Culnacnoc, just past the Glenview Hotel (which will be on your left). To get to the trailhead, cross the street and walk south looking for a faded wooden sign reading “Rubha nam Brathairean” and pointing to a dirt road. The trail seems to take you through somebody’s residence (white house with a gate!), then passes through pasture land dotted with sheep grazing and winds down towards the coastline. We ended up near a rocky beach – there is a path around the peninsula heading to a rocky cliff with scenic views, but we struggled to find it and didn’t have enough time for this final leg of the hike (we spent under an hour, the whole trek would’ve needed at an hour more). So an overall interesting hike, and since it seems off the tourist radar, we had the entire place to ourselves.
