Overview

A magical place of outstanding natural beauty at the foot of the Black Cuillin mountains. The Fairy Pools is becoming increasingly popular so when you visit, please drive carefully on the single track roads, follow the parking enforcement notices and take all your litter away with you. There is a WC at the nearby Glenbrittle Campsite along with some great coffee c/o the Cuillin Coffee Co. Thank you and we hope you enjoy your visit!

We spent an hour at the Fairy Pools - they came highly recommended on many websites. I should've known - if I found it all over the internet, everyone else did! The place was PACKED in the late morning. We parked fairly far up the...More

There is a nice track leading up to the Fairy Pools. The water is stunningly the colour of turquoise`ish. Too bad we happened to be there at the end of a day. The pools were full of people. Gorgeous views. We had a sunny weather,...More

wow this place is totally stunning . Yes it's busy so either go early - we got the last car parking space at 8am or go late unless you enjoy road rage and general chaos ! pretty easy walk but does involve stepping across some...More

We walked to the fairy pools late afternoon, and if the weather is good, I would recommend going again at this time! They're pretty popular so the car park and road can fill up...so avoid the rush and wait for it to get a little...More

Although, similar in name to the Fairy Glen.....the Fairy Pools are not located in the same area. You will need to follow the roads for Glen Brittle. Then take a single track route off to the left. After a few days of blowing rain, everything...More

Set in the stunning Cullin Mountains, the Fairy Pools are a magical series of waterfalls and pools that run from the mountains to the sea. The scenery is dramatic with the mountains towering in front of you as you approach the pools. Well worth visiting...More

The walk up to the fairy pools is nice but quite busy, once you pass the main attraction it gets quiet and the views up the mountains are really good.

Mountains, rocks, waterfalls and the like - what's not to appreciate? As with other similar sites some people have tried to sell this as a supernatural experience - it isn't, it's just beautiful scenery and it's a good walk to see it all. We arrived...More

The walk was beautiful and fun. The fairy pools were very pretty but when the water is high it is hard to cross a stream in the beginning. I had a great time although the water was freezing.

You should review a number of websites that show the exact terrain on the Fairy Pools walk. I did not do the walk but after reading these websites, I found that the stepping stones/boggy areas and length brought to my... More

No it's not possible to access with a mobility scooter. The path is too steep and there are streams to cross (stepping stones). Also parking is severely restricted and if you don't get a space the verge is narrow, steep and... More
