My wife and I called in at this wonderful little garden in Cardross managed by the National Trust on our way for an afternoon out in Helensburgh. What a wonderful array of planting in this little gem of a garden. Several pathways around the grounds...More

Really beautiful gardens for a stroll around. Personally i loved seeing the vast vegetable gardens, but the walked garden is also really nice and peaceful. The gardener was very friendly and knowledgeable so do stop him for a chat if you go!

Just a short hop from Dumbarton these gardens are magnificent in spring with the bluebell woods and the spectacular Rhododendrons. Well worth a visit at anytime of year but especially in spring.

This was my first visit here, and it will certainly not be the last. This is a real hidden gem - not so hidden really, but easy to drive past to more well known places and not go in. The rhododendrons were in full flower,...More
