It's just s bit of walking distance from the Old Ground Hotel but easy enough to find. Get to the friary and Cloister restaurant then cross the bridge, walk a bit more and it will be on the left. I always value a town from its library.

This is a great resource for books, music, films etc. There is a very good Local History section attached. The staff are very well trained and helpful always! The location is very central, and fully disabled accessible. Internet services are available for free, very useful for visitors!

Lots to engage the reader in this library based in former Presbyterian Church. Good children's section. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Worth popping in. Lots of historical books.

The public library in Ennis is opposite Colaiste Muire girls secondary school near club bridge. There is very limited pay parking by the school. The building is long and low housing a kids section with sunken seating where storytelling becomes magical, a central book repository and a computer section for Internet access or reading. There is a museum of de... More

I am again so disgusted for coming in today. This is my second time. My first time I went the library is very noisy. Not conducive for studying. It is like a market people are coming with loud voices and loud laughters especially from the reception area. That was a year ago. I chanced it today hoping to be a... More

The help and care one receives at the de Valera Library is heart warming. A super place to relax, read and research history and families. Cannot pin point one individual as everyone is so helpful always.

Except for the information age nonsense in 95 and at long last getting WiFi a few years ago I can't think of a single change to this place in the 30 years since my dad first took me aged 5. Grim and depressing. Surely they could have done something during the good years when there was a bit of cash... More

This library no longer has a museum. The only item at the library is De Valera's old car. The exhibition has been discontinued since 1999.

The Library is absolutely terrible in all senses. The atmosphere is dirty, dumb and dark. Very little space to sit down. The reading area is always occupied by loud teenagers after school hours. Impossible to read or to study. The bathroom is a disgrace all together.
