Great friendly pub....

Friendly pub, always made welcome..... Occasionally in Ennis on business, and always manage to get to the Diamond Bar for a sneaky pint.....

A little gem of a pub, extremely friendly clientele and staff, open fire and great beer. The sort of place if you weren't careful you can easily lose track of time. Well worth a visit .. or two or three .......

Great little bar with wonderful vibe&friendly staff. It's a small bar so in high season I'd say it gets packed early. Great spot to have a few drinks by the open fire on a cold wet afternoon or night

Such a cute lil' bar, we played cards all night, drank cider, and listened to traditional Irish music. The whole experience was great.

Oh my God what a little gem. Quaint but fabulous. If you like old style pubs this is the place for you. Lovely nooks to sit in, spotless toilets, smoking area.love it. I'd die happy if I was to die in this pub. Very friendly barman. Food available also. Can't wait to go back and spend a few hours there. Very... More

We stayed at the Auburn Lodge in Ennis and wanted to visit some local establishments. Our taxi driver, Raymond, recommended the Diamond Bar to start and we were not disappointed. It had great character, nice staff and great patrons.

Have been in this pub many times and it deserves a review for the atmosphere and welcome generated by the staff, many thanks to Emma and Anna for their great service on a recent busy Friday night. Thanks also to Sinead who does a great job when she is on duty, for anyone who drinks Guinness you won't beat here... More

When we arrived in Ireland, our tour guide, Tony Woods (see review for his tours) suggested we grab a pint at Diamond Bar, one of his local hangouts. Tony was right -- we had the best pint of Guinness at Diamond Bar. Definitely pop in if you are in Ennis.

Grand spot for a pint and good music. I enjoyed it but it wouldn't be one of my favourite pubs in Ennis as I found it a little cramped.

Wandering down the street in Ennis the other night we ventured into The Diamond. Within minutes we were served and found an empty seat near the front door. Soon a gang of musicians meandered in and set up. Such a musical treat and wonderful banter ensued. Everyone was so friendly. The musicians themselves were delightful and made us feel so... More
