Right by the Butter Museum and St Anne's. You can go in and have a look. Nothing special on the inside. THe outside is a nice domed structure.

The foundation of a former castle is now a dance theater. It is in the center of the Shandon district of Cork City, essentially the upper part of town located uphill from the River Lee. Get ready for a climb!

I have enjoyed several ballet performances and a UCC muscial here over several years. It is small but because it is steep, there is never a problem seeing the performers. Parking may be difficult so be prepared for a walk up from the river.

I went to see the performance of Magnetic and found that the venue had a nice atmosphere. The Stage and seating where small and intimate but it creates a chance to really get involved in what your watching.

I've been to a couple of shows here recently and like the place a lot. It has a strong sense of dance history, of course, and the main hall upstairs is well laid-out with its raked seating, for proper enjoyment of what's onstage. It's a...More
