To experience the true feel of ireland it's worth dropping into the Long Valley bar. You can bring your instrument and join in a "session" of trad music. A good pint of Guinness rounds off the evening in central Cork. Slainte!

It has been our tradition for over 15 years to go here Christmas Eve during our final shopping mayhem. Best fresh sandwich doorsteps ever and finish off with s pint of the black stuff. Very laid back and always a good crowd. It's a must.

I have patronised this bar for 25 years whenever I am in Cork-nothing ever changes. It is something of a time warp but the service is good and their fresh sandwiches are famous for those in the know. Strongly recommended to visitors to Cork. A...More
