The Forge is a quaint pub near the castle with the best Guinness pour around. The owner and his daughter Annie are warm and welcoming as are the Tuesday night regulars!

We sat by the turf fire in this very old and cosy pub and had a delicious pint. Lots of atmosphere and a very friendly barman. We came back later for a drop of Jameson's. A great local pub.

Deceiving from the outside but once inside your made feel part of the Irish family where the conversations flow as easy as the beer. Excellent host Barman makes everyone welcome.

This bar is very eye-catching....from the half doors as you enter to all the amazing memorabilia inside. The owner was very friendly and full of interesting stories. We loved our visit here. Don't miss it when you're in Donegal town.
