What a wonderful setting for an Abbey. The headstones and surroundings make for a short but moving part of an amble around the harbour. The Donegal forefathers should be very proud of their legacy. Go for a visit.

Situated by the quayside in Donegal town, the Abbey is nice to take in during a walk. The building itself is in ruins with only a few partial walls remaining surrounded by gravestones. Quiet and serene.
