We came here on our last day in Donegal town. Its very peaceful. Considering how old some of the graves are the headstones are beautiful. Some really old ones too. It’s very well looked after.

We stayed at The Water's Edge B & B and the Abbey was right behind it. Enjoyed walking through reading the headstones. Donegal Bay is a beautiful backdrop for the Abbey. Made some pretty pictures with the celtic crosses and the Bay.

A quiet peaceful feeling envelopes you as you walk along the different graves. Not much of the abbey remains, but definitely worth the trip. Marie S

This is a small cemetery and ruins of the Abbey. So very pretty with the drop back of Donegal Bay. It is still used today. Just a short walk from the Diamond in down town. A must see

Its beautiful for a nice little walk. Some very old ruins and tombstones there, some so old they are nearly buried under ground. Such a peaceful place with a view of the bay. Great place for pictures and very historical.
