First up, we are a family of 4 with two boys (10yo & 12yo). We booked the 3 day rail tour with Rail Tours while still in Australia as part of our England, Ireland, France family holiday. We had a few questions mainly around the accommodation and the team were very responsive and helpful clarifying everything for us. We didn't... More

This was a long day but excellent tour. You start in Dublin and take a train to Kilkearney. There you hop on a waiting bus which takes you to the Ring of Kerry. The ring is one of the most beautiful things you will see in Ireland. The blue water of the ocean is truly spectacular. Our driver Ray was... More

It was a great day trip to the Giant's Causeway and Glens of Antrim. The train is the best way to travel and see the amazing views of Ireland. There is wifi on board and breakfast available, which is perfect for the early start. Once you arrive in Belfast and begin your tour on the bus there is plenty to... More

My sister, my boyfriend and myself went on a Rail Tours Ireland trip to Belfast on the 17th April. We began our day welcomed by a lovely Irishman called Tom. Tom escorted us up to Belfast on the very modern and elegant train up north leaving from Dublin. The views were very tranquil and relaxing and set the day off... More

The train ride was comfortable, staff was friendly and the on board offerings of light snacks was convenient. They take either Euros or GBP. They have free Wifi on board which again is very convenient. Train station is clean as well as the trains. Well worth the trip to either Dublin or Belfast for the convenience and nice ride.

The rail and bus tour from Dublin started at 7am and ended at 10 pm. The full day tour took us first to Limerick by rail and then bus, a thorough tour of Bunratty Castle, lunch in a small coastal town (Doolin), a 1 1/2 hour stay at the Cliffs of Moher (more than enough time to hike up the... More

I have now done several trips with Railtours, and I love them! Travelling by train beats a coach straight off. We went to the Giants Causeway last week and had the pleasure of breakfast on the train on the way there, and a few drinks on it on the way back, all in easy reach of a toilet and space... More

My wife and I took the 1 day tour from Dubin to Cobh. The train was very comfortable and gave us a nice view of the Irish country side. We took a Coach from Cork to Blarney Castle and then to Cobh (return trip was all by Rail from Cobh back to Dublin). The Tour Guide Peter was very personable... More

Had a wonderful day trip to Limerick, Bunratty Castle, Cliffs of Moher, and Galway (thanks, Peter!). Lots of stops and bits of history. Perfect for those on a short trip who are trying to see as much in a day as possible. Trains and buses are excellent for seeing the countryside while traveling to the next destination. Enjoyed the tour... More

Thank you Railtours for one of the best days we've had in Ireland. Your lovely tour guide, Sean, made us feel in goods hands and had many good stories to tell as well as opinions on things to do. The Game of Thrones tour that was connected to this was awesome. The room we stayed in in Belfast was lovely.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your lovely comments, I will pass these on to Sean. He will be delighted to hear them. Our Belfast, Games of Thrones & Giants Causeway tour is fantastic. One of my favorite too! and a must for fans of the TV show. I hope you have the chance to take one of our other tours... More
