We stopped in Fitzsimons our first night in Dublin for a drink. The staff was extremely friendly. We asked if they would be tuned in to our team’s game in the MLB ALCS the next evening. While we enjoyed our drinks, the manager checked the...More

Popped in whilst visiting Dublin for the day. We all took advantage of the cocktail offer. The staff were friendly and all mucked in to make our 10 cocktails!

The Beef and Guiness Casserole was very good as was the Chicken Pannini. The beer options were great, and the staff very friendly and helpful. The guitarist sang Irish melodies, A good place to unwind at the end of a long day

I've only ever had drinks up on the roof terrace, the rest of the pub is dark and uninviting. The drinks are expensive but I don't mind paying a little extra when I can soak up the sunshine on the roof.

Found it rather expensive, even compared to similar establishments in Temple bar. However, that said you get what you see, you can tell what you're going to get on the inside from the outside.

Fitzsimons is in the heart of Temple Bar and will be packed for New Years. You would have to check on their website what they have planned for this time and if they have a ticketed event or not. Either way, I would suggest... More
