Glasnevin Cemetery and Museum are both the guardians and storytellers for over 1.5 million people. From the ordinary to the truly extraordinary, these people helped shape the Ireland of today. We want to share their stories and times with you through tours of the cemetery, a visit to the museum or through a genealogy search for your family history. We are a not-for-profit organisation and all proceeds are used to sustain and improve our cemeteries to ensure they are places of beauty, interest and intrigue.

Never thought I would say I enjoyed visiting a cemetery! The guide was excellent, gave lots of information and was ready to answer all of our questions. The tour was an eye opener and the museum enjoyable. A definite must see!

We took the hop on bus to this stop to see the nearby gardens. But the cemetery itself is worth the visit. Wonderfully maintained, historic, and a great place to take a stroll.

I cane on this tour with my dad. It was absolutely hammering down with rain that day but that never affected the tour in anyway. The tour guide was excellent!!. The stuff he knew was unbelievable and the way he presented it was first class!....More

A visit to Glasnevin is well worth while - extremely interesting. The whole experience is very well organised and it is also very handy for visiting the Gravediggers pub and the gardens.
