Being a fine art graduate myself, this current exhibition was fascinating in the sense that I saw some modern classics as well as contemporary interpretations. The exhibition was organised chronologically which added logical credibility to the exhibition. However, some opportunity was lost to make connections...More

I enjoyed it. It's great if you see something different than what is described on the plaques. It is not for children as some of the art is more for the adult eye.

I don't know, maybe I don't understand modern art but I definitely was not a fan of this museum. It gave me the heebie jeebies of anything. My friend and I stumbled across this museum by accident after taking a taxi to see Gilmainham Gaol....More

The park setting and the deep history of the buildings of this modern museum is the perfect juxtaposition for the thrilling exhibitions currently mounted at IMMA. I entered the museum grounds through the gate entrance across from Kilmainham Gaol, which provides a leisurely approach along...More

Yes, sorry to say that the museum is closed on Mondays, but stay for the gardens, they're very nice, worth a slow walk around to admire the whole layout. The small gardeners cottage has a brief history of the whole hospital development. The plants are...More

Yes they are in English as that is the main spoken language in Ireland. But in my opinion, you are wasting your time visiting this museum.
