This is an amazing book with a fantastic history. It's presented very nicely and was worth gong to see because there is nothing else like it in the world.

The Book of Kelly's was beautiful and the presentation with history about the book was very nicely done. Immediately after the book you go into the long hall library. Again I couldn't have been more impressed. I love history and architecture it does not take long to go through these, maybe expect an hour once you enter the exhibit

Very cool college campus. The students must think it weird to see so many tourists every day. Anyway, if you are into historical objects than you will enjoy your visit. The Book of Kells is the main attraction and can be easily seen on display. The Long Hall in the Old Library is really cool. They even have the 500 year... More

If you are only planning to visit Ireland once in your lifetime, this should make your short list of must see places. The book of Kells itself is unlike anything you are likely to see in your lifetime, the history, the book itself and yet for me personally, it was the Long room above, the old library that captured my... Enjoyable visit especially the Old Library. I think it could get very busy. Interesting display of Jonathan Swift's books and death mask which complements information in Saint Patrick's cathedral where he was Dean.

The Book of Kells exhibit is one not to be missed. The exhibit is amazing and a real treasure. Nice easy flow but their are some stairs to climb. The Long Room is a beautiful hall which contains the harp display. We paid onsite and had no wait.

We are fortunate indeed that the Book of Kells has survived so many vicissitudes since the monks put brush and quill to parchment so many centuries ago, The exhibition is excellent with full descriptions of the mammoth tasks involved in its completion. The exquisite art work is well covered, including pictures and explanatory text on many of the Latin alphabet... More

Too expensive for a nice room. The library was beautiful but that's it. Nothing else can be seen or done here. 11 euros is too much and better use money for something more interesting.

Well worth a visit. We arrived early and walked straight in but when we came out the queue was quite long. The Long Room is simply stunning. The Book of Kells is fascinating. Photography not allowed in exhibition halls but postcards are available.
