A must stop pub whilst in Dublin. Had a pint of Guiness, poured to perfection. It does get very, very crowded so get there early if you want to sit.

Another good Dublin pub. When we called it was very busy but we managed to find a seat to enjoy the atmosphere and a pint or two.

Great atmosphere but very crowded. We did not eat just had a pint and moved on to next pub. Would recommend to say you have been at on of the top rated pubs in Dublin.

Had a great time here for our first authentic Ireland pub. We went the evening of the Gaelic football championship. Had a couple pints and dinner while the crowd from the game filtered in. It was great fun! The beef and Guinness stew was the...More

This is a pretty traditional pub but fairly touristy. We visited 10 years ago and it looks pretty much the same maybe a little more worn. There are lots of pubs in Dublin, maybe one beer here is enough.

This pub is ooooold - lots of charm - plenty of beer - and lots of fun people to meet. The best part is the upstairs bar. We were there on a tuesday evening - the Ukulele Tuesday group was having a meet-up/play & sing-along...More

Was here for an after party and they reserved seats for us and it was clean and tidy, the beer was good and the feel of the place was so Irish, looking out on Irish bunting and just a joy to be in.

We tried seafood chowder all over Ireland on this trip and the Seafood Chowder at the Stag's Head was the clear winner.

Generally an older crowd which is rather nice. Appears in the Iconic bards of Dublin book and certainly is worth a visit. Can get pretty busy and I think they play live music downstairs.

They are very efficient and manage to get food and drink to people pretty quickly. Dont expect a hostess and a wait list. You go in and find yourself a seat. Someone will find you and take your order.
