This was the 4th time we have been to Ireland and once again we chose Stenna for a number of reasons. Its a very clean ship ( we were not impressed with Irish Ferries cleaness when we traveled with them) Staff are helpful and friendly in our experience,Despite the storm of the previous night the ship left only with 30 mins... Travelling to Ireland via Holyhead and back on Stena Adventura, what a great ship with very friendly staff throughout the ship. Going out was a calm sea and coming back was slightly less calm What is not advertised at Dublin is that parking port side of the gates is pay and display, luckily retraced my steps and found the Topaz... Spent a pleasant and quiet couple of hours crossing the Irish Sea aboard the Stena Adventurer. Not at all crowded on this mid-day, late September sailing. Good cold Foster's on tap. Make sure to have some British Pounds or Euros when you disembark to catch the shuttle bus into town. Their is no taxi queue, and a 30 to 60... More

Went to Ireland for the night in the beginning of aug ,haven't been on a ferry before and must say I was pleasantly surprised how accommodating they are, small shop to buy all sorts from sweets, snacks, magazines, gifts, alcohol, perfume etc and had a cafe for small snacks such as Panini's,crisps and hot drinks, then upstairs in the restaurant me and partner had lasagne... We took the Stena Adventurer to Holyhead, Wales and found this refurbished ship to be a great condition. We got a room to sleep off the goings on in Dublin the night before and found our cabin clean and comfortable. We were dozing in no time at all!

Well, the ferry did get us from Dublin to Holyhead no argument, we arrived in Dublin 60 minutes before sailing and the staff had us on the ferry in no time, impressive.Once we did a reccy of the seating areas we found two settees opposite each other (result) Due we presume to the number of passengers not all food areas were... we always travel with stena line across to the uk as irish ferries are rude and a waste of space we had booked in stena plus which as always was worth the money and we had a bacon bloomer going over to holyhead for breakfast and terrific fresh tasting fish and chips on the return journey back to dublin. lovely... We travelled by Stena Line with the car to Wales in June. Having not been on a ferry since i was a young child I thought they could have some more info on their website about the baording process / what to do when you arrive at the port, a video on their site showing the process would have been... We took a Stena ferry from Dublin to Holyhead, Wales. The ship was clean & comfortable. There was a movie theater and a game room. The food selections were ok. The seas were calm. The 2.5 hour journey was very pleasant.

Travelled as a group of 6 in 2 cars. From start to finish our journey was brilliant. On our outward journey from Holyhead to Dublin we all ate in the restaurant. The food was only passable & was expensive for the quality provided. So much so that on the return journey we all brought our own food & only purchased... More
