My husband and I are on our honeymoon in Ireland and spent our first three days in Dublin. We aren't beer drinkers, and definitely not Guinness, which grants you some side eyes in this city! We stopped at the Hairy Lemon by chance and were amazed. Delicious fresh berry cider, Irish stew and bangers and mash. The bartender/waiter that served... More

We tried yesterday this restaurant since my parents came to visit me . We ate the best Irish stew and lamb shank in Dublin until now . The service is the top, the waiters are really nice. We will come back for sure 😊

Quite large pub with undersized staff which means that your orders takes time or even are forgotten. After getting drink we left for dinner to other place. Full of local people and good athmosphere.

Visited with a group of six people and the food was poor, nobody was overly happy with what they got. I had the steak sandwich, it was tasteless and had a big piece of fat right through the middle of it. I got about 12 chips with it and they weren't homemade either. My wife had the chicken burger and wasn't... More

We went there on Thursday with a friend of mine and if was crowded. We sat at a table for quite some time before a waitress arrived and suggested we went downstairs and paid and then she would bring us our food. We stayed and it took her not quite so long to bring the check and asked for it... More

We went here for dinner. I had one of the burgers with a soda and it was quite tasty. The atmosphere was slightly loud but friendly. Service was decent. It was a nice little stop for dinner.

On a trip to Dublin, stumbled across the Hairy Lemon and had to try it just because of the name. First we were greeted like family and given a table in the away from the bar in the restaurant section. I had Bangers and Mash--one of my staple dishes, my dil had Cottage Pie. Chilly, damp Dublin faded away and... More

This review is long overdue but I wanted to make some time to review more about my Ireland trip last June. The Lemon was one of my very first stops in Dublin/Ireland and it was wonderful. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. We had a large group of 9 and they got us right in a great... More

I went in for a pint and the interior is amazing! Absolutely love it, so much to look at. Friendly and pleasant staff. Great range of ales too :) If you're in the area, definitely pop in for a drink if not something to eat too (I heard people eating saying it was good food).
