Come visit us in our own home at The Lansdowne Hotel, a beautiful 18th century town house in Dublin and experience the very best of Irish music, dancing and fine food! The Irish House Party combines all the singing and dancing of a traditional Irish house party with a Dinner and Theatre experience. House guests are entertained by All Ireland Champion musicians and dancers but also learn about Irish music, dance and culture in a fun way. First our guests enjoy a delicious three course dinner in The Irish House Party Pub. Our restaurant offers Irish home style cooking with big flavoured traditional dishes. There is a full bar available selling a wide range of beverages. We also have an extensive wine list. After your dinner the host brings you into the parlor room for The Irish House Party show. Our venue creates an intimate and personal atmosphere where guests can meet and talk with the musicians and maybe even perform something themselves! A reservation is required for our show and private group bookings can be arranged for any day and time convenient to your group.

The show here is a solid five! All of the musicians are top notch as well as Kira the Riverdance dancer. She dances as well as she is lovely. The food was between good and great but ALL of the portions were woefully small. Even the bread was limited to one partial slice. You may want to eat before coming... More

After a wonderful dinner - try the vegetarian option of leeks and Brie and cranberry - delicious. The entertainers were so friendly and talented. Gerry is an awesome guitarist and singer. The fiddler and Irish dancer (who performed in river dance) was amazing! And the uileen pipe player was excellent. A must see if you want to appreciate the Irish... More

Our guided tour of Ireland began with a modest meal in the Lansdowne Hotel and a very entertaining show that was presented in The Den Bar in the basement. The performers and musicians came onto the stage and for the next hour or so kept us all entertained with music, stories, and dancing. The group was very talented. All of... More

We very much enjoyed ourselves at the Irish House Party. The food was excellent- Guinness Beef Stew and a Chocolate Slice for dessert were both delicious. The entertainment was fun, there was only a small there so it was very inclusive and interactive. I would definitely recommend this!

Totally disappointed with this. Booked through Expedia and was charged £41+ which I assume is 50€ each and yet now I look on Irish house party website they have s price of 20€ which would have been more acceptable. There were sixteen sitting down to the meal. A party of ten and three separate couples. Not really enough to get... More

Hi Breda, Thanks for your feedback. The reason we had a such a small group in on this particular date was because a large group of 35 people had to cancel a few hours before the show due to their flight being delayed into Dublin. Obviously we didn't have time to resell the seats so instead of cancelling the remaining... More

The dinner was very nice. I had the salmon with veggies. The band was the outstanding part of the dinner. Four fine musicians entertained us for at least an hour. They played some traditional music, jigs and dance music and modern Irish tunes. Fiona performed three Irish dances as well as playing a small accordion. I loved the evening. One... More

Great introduction to Irish music & dance culture. My 12 year old enjoyed it as much as I did! Simple tasty food , the entertainment was just great with some seriously talented musicians & one dancer. Overall - very glad to have gone, was quite disappointed when it ended Thank you to all the team

We attended the Irish House Party via a Collette Tour in September. The evening included a 3 course meal with multiple choices (I had salmon as the main dish) and it also included one drink. Service was good and the food was fine but the star here is the entertainment. Talented professionals featuring Irish music and dance. There was a... More

An entertaining and informative night, suitable for all the family. 4 x musicians, including one who also danced. The banter between the performers was entertaining and the talent made it well worth a visit. An ideal way to learn a little about the traditional Irish instruments and hear them being played. We had dinner at the venue beforehand which was... More

First off the musicians were talented and excellent. The performance was in the basement of a local hotel. It is down a flight of stairs and is crowded. The food was not even average. We were disappointed. The major issues for us was the performance started 45 minutes late as they waited for patrons who had not purchased dinner. The... More

Hi Richard. Thanks for your feedback. I have looked into this for you and on the date you came the show began at 8.40pm. This was a delay of 10 minutes not 45 minutes. I am presuming that you probably thought the show started at 8pm. It always begins at 8.30pm. The dinner is at 7pm. I'm sorry to hear... More
