Situated at the temple bar end of the ha’penny bridge this was a natural stop in on our wanderings around Dublin. A very clean, well run establishment with a great selection of drinks. Not cheap but nothing in Dublin is!

We got a recommendation from my sister in law to eat here. I’m glad we did. We usually like traditional Irish music, but the music they had playing on this night wasn’t that. But it was still AMAZING. The two guys playing in the front...More

Celebrated st Patrick's day here - what an incredible, sprawling venue! We had a blast dancing to the live music and enjoyed the selection of drinks immensely. Thank you!

Worst possible service ever received. We visited in a group, and the first table sitting took over one hour to receive their food. Their excuse? "One of the customers ordered a started..." - if that really was expected, at least warn the table. Other customers...More

Had our first Guinness here and ended up staying hours. John and the staff made us so welcome and we loved the atmosphere as well as great music. Loved the beautiful spiral staircase and decor. A great find.

The Merchants Arch Bar in Dublin is stylish for sure; but it feels a bit artificial, lacking a bit in genuine welcome, and a bit tourist-trappy. There's the inevitable tourist-oriented ‘folk’ music, played too loud; and OK but rather lacklustre food and drink. But then...More

Had dinner and a drink here during the big storm as not much open. Had bacon with cabbage and was very old school. Sat above the bar so could here the music well but it wasn't very traditional. Still good place to grab a bite.

Hi there and thank you for your review today! We do have live traditional Irish music 7 days a week but also a mixture of contemporary and classic. Bacon and cabbage is bacon and cabbage ha. Slainte!
