Visited this pub on Bank Holiday Sunday and it was heaving. Good atmosphere but bar man not so friendly. Revisited the following Tuesday and it was quiet but again, good atmosphere. Service at bar more friendly from a different bar man.

The Padraig pearse is a great fun pub. Shows all the sports and has entertainment every weekend. Lots of locals and the craic is ninety.

This pub is the complete opposite of anything you'll find at Temple Bar. No annoying people and very reasonable price for a Pint. There's also no music - at least when we were there - which makes it easier to talk to the (mostly regular...More

Stopped in for a pint by myself. Beer was good, but the customers were only interested in themselves. Too bad really. So much for the advertising on the side of the building as an authentic Irish pub - unless that really is the way the...More

We dropped in here for a lunch time drink and probably best if we hadn't! The ladies toilets were out of order, so had to use the gents and our non-Irish accents were commented on at the bar (and not in a good way)....

We popped into the pup for our last dinner in Dublin. Our server was super friendly and outgoing. We enjoyed a very nice meal while locals met friends at the bar for drinks. Very cool spot. I recommend for a casual evening meal and a...More
