I booked a walking tour with Fiona Brennan a couple of weeks prior to my arrival in Galway ... she got back to me quickly and was very accommodating, meeting me at my hotel in the city center. Fiona was engaging and made the history of Galway come alive with such interesting facts and stories. Without her historical perspective I... More

I booked a walking tour with Fiona to see Galway, and right from the start, she was friendly and accommodating. She met me and my group at our hotel and took us on a 90 minute walk through Galway. She shared very interesting pieces of history and gave us some insights on where to eat and get the most out... More

Fiona was a lively guide full of fascinating historical and local information on Galway starting in BC times coming right up to today through mediaeval, Cromwell, and other periods. As she intended I visited many places she pointed out - a wonderful cheese shop, some place to take iconic photos, a quaint bookshop, a small museum, fireplaces in a pub... More

We took the walking tour with Fiona today and had a grand time. It felt like strolling about the town with a friend who has an unbounded enthusiasm for Galway (it's contagious!). She peeled back the layers of time to share her knowledge of history, legend, architecture, and where to nip in for a pint or a piece of the... More

Fiona was one of the best guides we have had on any tour we have ever been on. You can tell she loves her job and is very proud of Galway where she lives and points out all the interesting facts and little stories that you would only see or hear with a brilliant guide. Love Galway and love Fiona.... More

We passed several groups of walking tours as we headed to the TI on Forster St. and I felt fortunate indeed to meet Liam for the 11:30 tour departing from the TI. Liam was so knowledgeable and engaging as he shared his passion for his native city. We truly got a sense of Galway through the ages as Liam revealed... More

Went out with Brian today for about a 45 minute tour of downtown and the river walk toward the Spanish Arch. Galway is a beautiful town and it would be easy to just walk around and enjoy it. Brian brought a much deeper dimension explaining the history of buildings and the city itself. Even recommend a great pub for lunch!
