Having been for a few drinks in here last year, we really enjoyed it with the friendly grey haired barman (incidentally he could not have been nicer this time either). The other barman was abrupt to thw point of rude. Maybe he was having an...More

Went in for a drink last night at the end of a long weekend in Galway. Saw an American couple we had met earlier. The staff were so rude and dismissive to them. We finished up our drink and chose to leave, partly because of...More

This is another old man's pub or middle aged men's pub. Wouldn't really be for me but for those that do seem to like it they seem to be there on a nightly basis. So am guessing that says all that needs to be known...More

We just had one drink here as we'd never visited before but we weren't tempted to stay as it was quite bright and not as cosy as some of the other pubs on the street.

Somewhat drab, but full of local personalities and flavor. A non-descript joint where you can always find good conversation and a good pint.

This is what I like to call an "old man pub" but it's great. Interesting booths and heaps of different beers and ciders to try. Staff and locals are really friendly inside as well :)
