A wonderful cathedral to visit. It opened in 1965 and is one of the largest and most impressive buildings in Galway. The most impressive parts were the architectural design inside and the beautiful stained glass windows. A must-see attraction when visiting Galway.

Not to be missed! Awe inspiring, peaceful, beautiful. Parking is available and it is within walking distance to other beautiful sites in Galway.

Gorgeous architecture. So huge- massive and beautiful structure. Wood work on the ceiling, paintings on the walls, tinted painted windows. Historic and beautiful. Must visit.
