Ten of us went to the races, we had a great time but we were not lucky enough to win. We paid 15 Euro for seats in the stand so we were inside when the rain came down. We had a great time.

For a horse lover it was great to be where the action was going on, to be so close to the horses you see on tv, all the jockies, to be able to way up the horses close up , pick the one you like and put small bet on for fun/be part of the action. just a wonderful trill.... More

The famous Galway Races which has its week long summer festival starting on the last Monday in July each year is a very enjoyable event for both the serious and fun race goer. All the excitement of a race day, with a real warm and welcoming West-of-Ireland feel. Great view, a real buzz around every race, a great day out.

Depends on what day you attend always a great atmosphere drinks and food very expensive staff not very helpful

Go racing in galway every year and it's the best race meeting to go to. Always attend on the Monday with the family and again on the Thursday with the lads. Visited the September meeting and booked a table for a meal in the panoramic restaurant. Also included in the meal was a tipster providing his expert knowledge via a microphone before the races began. Unfortunately our "in training" foreign waitress was more interested in taking our order than letting us listen to the advice. We had hardly arrived and sat... More

Visited Galway races last month and it was a brilliant day. The weather was superb and the surroundings were beautiful. An all round amazing day!

we go racing in galway at least 3 times ayear we were there 2 weeks ago for the september meeting .it was great as compared to the julymeeting thec rowds were a lot smaller so it was easier to get around .the racing was great and we met lots we knew. ballybrit is the sort of race course that you...
