We stayed in accommodation here, which was basic as expected but the bathroom and shared kitchen facility were very dirty.the breakfast offered as an additional price, which I booked as I was unaware of a kitchen facility, was plentiful but limited choice and low quality.staff were friendly and shuttle bus useful.good if you want basic accommodation in the City.

It is one of the largest campus i would say in Ireland. Its spread over acres like UCD. Just next to beautiful Corrib River. Nice classrooms and campus. Beautiful. Quadrangle is the most famous place to visit.

Great to share the visit and near the Cathedral so much to see and to discover as you walk the grounds. Visits can be arranged through schools.

This is a fine college with a combination of old and new buildings and continuing development. It is a good ramble to see all the campus

Although the campus is quite big and the college itself has about 17,000 students, everyone seems to know eachother. What I love about nuig is that we have many fun activities in college to give students a chance to meet new people so they won't feel alone, especially if they come here for erasmus or are first years. We have... More

This campus is worth a walk around and it's only 5 minutes walk from the centre of the city. The old building blend in lovely with the new and they are all worth seeing.

Visited the university after visiting the adjacent Cathedral. Beautiful grounds near the Corrib River/Canal. Very quiet - in the absence of students. Architecture impressive. Worth seeing once. Inside closed for summer (or perhaps weekends). Enjoyed watching its rowers practicing in the corrib River - closeby.

NUIG is beautiful. I love walking around the old building, sit down on the green and have a coffee, soak up the laid back ambiance. Even the new buildings have their charm and don't forget it's river walk. NUIG is near the city centre so a stroll into town after is a nice round-up. Particularly atmospheric during the winter when... More
