Wonderful walk along the Galway Bay. It was very windy when I visited but the views were worth it! The water was beautiful and it was nice to get out of the city.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn't very good when we were there. However, it's a beautiful walk along the water. Across the street, there are restaurants, shops and amusement rides. Very nice area to visit, especially in nice weather!

Love walking the Prom at Salthill. Beautiful views, occasional food stands, a few small (tiny) beaches and a couple of places for mad folks to jump in from a great height. Whats not to love!?

The prom is a good place to go for a walk. The prom itself is long and safe for walking, can get quite busy. There is a lovely beach for children to play on and plenty of parking. There is also an outdoor pool with...More

There are amusement areas some by the sea but not on the prom, there was a little road train that took families around the seafront.
