I came here to the Galway bay hotel for a casual drink with my friends. I have been here before so I couldn't wait to tell them about it and they were not disappointed ! A young man called Jason was working behind the bar, he was so friendly and knew a lot about his job! We can't wait to... More

It is easy to stop and take Galway Bay all in, the gentle rolling waves, all along this Bay shoreline. Like so many seascapes in Ireland, Galway Bay has its own version of unique. It is worth taking the time to get close and personal for the experience.

If you're in Galway, it's almost impossible to avoid the bay. Galway is a seaside town, so definitely get to the bay while there. It's beautiful, and there are many areas of paved walking paths outlining the bay, even some sandy beaches!

The bay area of Galway City is an especially beautiful area of a notably beautiful city. It is so easy to lose track of time sitting here and staring out to sea, watching the sunrise. An essential stop-off for any visitor to Galway.

Very nice walking path around the bay. Some really great views at sunset and at night when the moon is full with light streaming across the bay.

Galway Bay...what a magical place. It's my adopted home and favourite place in the country (and world).

Spent a night on a whim as we spotted a great package deal at this four star property. Comfortable room with both a double and single beds with very comfortable beds. Rooms were spacious and very clean with refurbished bathrooms with shower/bath combo. The only deficiency we noted was the lack of in-room coffee/tea service. Posh lobby with covered sun... More

Another great place to see, very close to the Spanish Arch. The swans are so beautiful and elegant. And luckily some of the local boats went out while we were there, Galway Hookers. Just a peaceful site to visit.
