To single out the Ring of Kerry as a must do is highly overrated.Maybe we were victims of high expectations and rainy weather but with due respect the French Reviera and the 17th Mile Drive in California would any day beat the spectacular views of...More

The Ring is approximately 180 km of driving tour through various villages in southern Ireland. It can get a bit busy and weather can be dicey, but you will see some stunning views and likely meet some nice folks along the way. There are plenty...More

We were told that the Ring of Kerry was a pretty popular one in July we did it anyway. The key may have been our timing during the early part of the week. There all kind of things to stop and see along the way....More

The Ring of Kerry offers beautiful views of the Irish countryside along with its coastline. In some spots the coast and countryside connect. Driving along the Wild Atlantic Way we saw some spectacular cliffs and coastline on our way to Port Mcgee.

This is the best all day activity I have done in Ireland. We started from Killarney at about 10 am in the morning. We drove the route clockwise (toward Kenmare and Sneem). We were warned that we may meet tour buses on the road, but...More

It is for all the right reasons you are asked to do the ring of Kerry in an anticlockwise direction. There are so many beautiful spots on this tour to mention and yes the sheep still dander across the road just round the bend. A...More

From the km driven it's an 2,5-3 hours trip. We used like 9 hours. We had a short break from the route at Moll's Gab otherwise we followed the "normal" ring. There are however quite a few times you need to get out and see...More

The ring of Kerry is breathtakingly beautiful and Conor's pass is stunning. Kerry is my favourite part of Ireland and Iv lost count of the amount of times Iv been. Kerry people are wonderful and so welcoming.

No I don't really think you could do both in one day. Just concentrate on one. The road is quite narrow and at some times of the year it could be quite busy and slow with cars and coaches.
