The entire Strand was our view and exercise walk twice a day for two days. About a mile/1.6 km crescent beach with beautiful sand and colorful smooth rocks pushed up against the dunes. Incredible views of the Dingle Peninsula. Popular with walkers, dog owners, swimmers...More

Marvellous long wide beach with bracing winds from the Atlantic. Love it perfect on a day where you need to sort things out :-)

Very clean and lovely walk with everyone meet lovely local people but we have a dog that we always keep on a lead and bag their little job but as usual a very few people give the rest of us dog owners a bad name...More

The simplicity of having very little amenities. Very quiet beach, great for walks and thoughts. Barely anyone there which I think is a great thing. Beautiful.

Not the best beach in Kerry but next best if Ballybunnion beach is too busy during the summer.the town doesn't have much restaurants or activities.
