This is a unique experience. I can't recommend it highly enough. Book well in advance and be aware that boats can only sail when sea conditions permit. Wear good and sturdy footwear, don't attempt to take children and be sure to watch the safety video...More

You could if you have rubber tips. I didn't see anyone using trekking poles, but it should be possible. Skellig Michael is mostly rock. Your regular tip would not get any purchase on the step or the rocky surface. Good... More
