Beautiful "house". Gorgeous grounds. A good place to tour if you like touring historical homes. Great grounds to relax on a blanket and take in nature or sit by a creak side

This is a place to spend a few hours. Beautiful grounds to wander around at leisure, weather permitting of course, and a lovely old house to explore.

The grounds are so beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed a nice walk around the lake and through the woods. The cafe inside has hot hookahs and treats to keep you warm on a cool day.

I believe they are in bloom now. The gardens all around Ireland are amazing. I have seen a lot of hydrangea in every color in many places. Enjoy.

We will be there in August. Are the gardens worth visiting at that time of year? What would be in bloom? Thank you!

Hi Joan, Muckross House, Gardens and Traditional Farms are worth visiting all year round. However, it is particularly beautiful in Spring/Summer when the Cherry Blossoms bloom, and there is a frothy pink and white display... More
Aloha, I see that the guided house tours are about an hour long, but can you please tell me when and how often the tours are given; e.g. every hour on the half hour or every hour at the top of the hour, etc.?
