Each of their homes represent a family with a representative in each. Tasted their bread! Saw them baking it over the peat fire. Learned how each family would have lived. Really helped me connect with my Irish roots of long ago.

Just like granny's place, really. Reminiscent of a more innocent time. Have a walk around here and if you can sample some of the home baked bread the ladies in each cottage make, delicious with the old salty butter.

We visited Muckross as part of a tour and very much enjoyed our meal. After learning about the farm and meeting the dogs and horses, we had a traditional Irish dinner followed by lovely music.

hello....yes they are open in February every day...think they open at 11am till about 6pm.
