I visited here not being too sure what to expect. We were lucky enough to get onto a tour straight away (although they have them every 30 mins) and had a fascinating look into the lives of the elite families who lived in the house...More

We did the short tour of the house and heard the interesting story of those who had lived there. So pleased it has been restored and will become a wildlife centre. The gardens also provide a quiet haven and a beautiful foreground to the lakes...More

The gardens are located adjacent to the main hub of town, and they are definitely worth spending some time in. They offer a spectacular view of the mountains and cathedral in addition to featuring some lovely blooms and tree alleys.

This house and gardens are located just inside the gates of the national park. It is a lovely place for a stroll or to just sit, relax, wind down, or maybe read a book.

What a place! We have watched the renovations take place over our past visits to Killarney and called in to see the results. The restoration is brilliant...though still a work in progress.... the visitors centre is beautiful... and the tour guide who has a connection...More

This garden is the one of the remnants of Killarney house, sadly no more. The old stable block has now been converted to be the main house for the estate, but following the deaths of the most recent owners, it is now owned by the...More

The house has three rooms open and we got a guided tour. The guide started off a fraction nervous but once he got going, he showed his love of the house and the knowledge of the artifacts was amazing. It turned out he was the...More
