This lake has to be seen in all weathers it's absolutely stunning we were lucky enough to see it in rain and shine so you get a different perspective . Loved it

The lake and waterfront is very pretty and landscape varied. When viewed from the Waterbus, it was more featureless. Lots of trails along the Muckross area. Worth making a stop.

Not a ripple on this magnificent lake while we were there. We enjoyed the walks around the lake while staying in the Lake Hotel

Definitly take a small boat ride to St. Finian's abbey on and island in Lake Leane. Avoid the large tour boat. The islands in the lake are beautiful. Very scenic. Also you can take great photos of Ross Castle from the lake
