This scenic route is one of the most beautiful attractions in Ireland. Cliffs, beautiful towns and beautiful ocean views. Killarney with its park and Valentia Island are the most beautiful spots in these settings. If it is possible to choose a day with sunny weather...More

We set off on a dull day but unfortunately by halfway round the drive fog came in and lasted for many miles. Sadly this spoiled our trip. The road was very winding and not always in great condition so we found the driving very slow....More

We hiked a week on the Beara Way and the one day on the Kerry Way. After ending the Beara at Kenmare we got on the Kerry and hiked through the National Park and into Killarney. It was a gorgeous hike, and a wonderful day.

No vacation to Ireland is complete without viewing the Ring. It takes about half a day and you're able to see a great deal of the geographic diversity of Ireland: rugged terrain, ocean/bay, fresh water lakes, small villages, resorts.

I do not advise walking the Kerry Way. Sorry - I do not have a guide book to recommend. I would suggest signing up for a local tour that include the Kerry Way.
