We toured the coastal areas southwest of Killarney in a motorcoach, eventhough the weather was cloudy and overcast. The rest stop for lunch was probably the highlight of this adventure into the seaside of Ireland. Maybe we will return someday when the sun is shining...More

Overall the drive, with visiting some sites and stopping for lunch, was easily over 7 hours. No need to rush! Wonderful views, great places to stop and detour along the way. We started in Killarney and went counterclockwise, ending with the drive through the park....More

Extremely beautiful nature is its best form. The reflections in the lake was as really as those above. In winter, the Kerry way can be dangerous due to high cross winds and slipperry road surfaces. A good break would be the cafe at the half...More
