I love the outdoors and hillwalking this is why I would recommend this walk to those who are interested in hiking, hillwalking or mountain walk. There's also a waterfall going through the mountain that is beautiful.

Great walk and wonderful views of Killarney at the top but only found our way by following instructions from tripadvisor! Needs more signs!

We walked from Muckross House, all around the lake past Dinas Cottage to the locally known 'Cardiac Hill'. Steps all the way up, quite steep. Amazing views as you get up to the top of Torc mountain, almost tropical foliage. Beautiful scenery.

This walk take 2 and a half hours or less depending on your fitness level. Starting in the walkway from Dinis cottages going up steps to the very top. A magical view of killarney and muckross. Finishing at torc waterfall. Highly recommend it

Depends on personal hiking condition. We made it in 70 minutes to the top. But we were of good speed. I would say up to 100 minutes is ok.
