Geoffrey was a fun, knowledgeable guide who made something I was nervous about easy and enjoyable. Sending and receiving the hawks was exhilarating and humbling - an experience we’d definitely do again. Have told everyone about and highly recommend. Meeting the owls at the end was a wonderful bonus!

Simply a wonderful experience. Geoff is passionate and deeply knowledgeable about these spectacular predators. He introduced us to them in a dynamic and exciting way. An experience we will not forget. Going in, my wife was reluctant to handle the birds. Geoff immediately put her at ease and she flew Arizona, the Harris hawk, many times, thoroughly enjoying herself. At the end, she made happy acquaintance with Professor, a well-named White Faced Scops. The still pictures do not do the experience justice. (Geoff also knows the best videos to take.) If you are in Killarney, take time for this.

As a group of 4 we opted to pay additional money for the private experience. We were so glad that we did this, meeting 4 of the birds and having a great deal of 1:1 time. The birds are beautiful and the experience felt so personal. Our guide was a knowledgeable gentleman and we enjoyed his company.

You simply must experience having a huge bird of prey land on your hand. Mira was my guide for this controlled adventure. She was very smart and shared a great deal of her knowledge of these gigantic birds. The Harris Hawk was my first experience of a huge bird fly towards me -and then land gently on my gloved arm. I then had a number of brilliant owls do the same! Very very special. (I’m to Gandalf’s right in the photo)

We had an absolutely extraordinary experience with falconry that surpassed all expectations. The majestic hawk Arizona and wise owls, expertly handled by knowledgeable trainer Geoff, created a magical atmosphere for me and my family. The close interaction with these magnificent birds left us in awe, making it a truly unforgettable adventure. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a unique encounter with nature's incredible birds.

If I could give Geoffrey and Killarbey Falconry 10 stars, I would. Geoffrey is magnificent; he's friendly, kind, clearly loves his birds and takes his time with those visiting. He answered endless questions and never rushed even though it was bitter cold during our visit. He has a full understanding of his birds and their needs and you can tell he meets them.

We did a falconry walk with Geoffrey in April 2024 and it was a highlight of a fantastic trip to Ireland. The amount of time, energy, and expertise that he and his group bring together make the cost very reasonable. He's funny, engaging, and clearly loves what he does. If you are near Killarney - drive the Ring of Kerry and then call Killarney Falconry.

Absolutely amazing experience at Killarney Falconry! The knowledgeable staff made the visit both educational and enjoyable. Geoffrey, in particular, was kind and fun, adding a personal touch to the experience. The highlight was interacting with the hawk, which was both stunning and impressive. We also had the chance to see three different kinds of owls up close. Having hawks land on your arm was a thrilling experience. I learned so much about birds of prey and the art of falconry. This experience was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Ireland! Geoff from Killarney Falconry was so welcoming and knowledgeable.
