- Maria DDublin, Ireland90 contributionsAmazing Celtic Steps ShowWe took the shuttle bus from across the road from the International Hotel. The show was brilliant, we enjoyed every minute of it. The main musician did the commentary, and he was full of fun and jokes, he had everyone laughing. He welcomed everyone in the audience from each country, in their home language, which was lovely. Everything was amazing, the musicians were fab, the dancers were unreal and the singer had an amazing voice. We got a little shout-out for our anniversary which was so nice, thank you. There is a bar there to get refreshments, alcoholic and all kinds of drinks. They take a 15 minute break half way through, so we made a little dash for the bar for a beer. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would def go again when we return to Killarney. Thanks Maria JTIVisited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten October 11, 2023
- JenRCrawPoncha Springs, Colorado6 contributionsLively and skilled performance that'll have you dancing in the aisles! This show is a must see if you are near Killarney! Spectacular Irish stepdance to an phenomenal live band. The band is very interactive with the audience and each member is an amazing musician. You'll get to hear each instrument highlighted throughout the night. The dancers were all award-winning (or young and on their way) locals. You get to hear singing in English and Gaelic. Ample parking, bar next door, can't ask for much more!Visited April 2024Travelled soloWritten April 9, 2024

- M K SNoblesville, Indiana584 contributionsA Must DoThe show provides a great opportuntiy to hear Celtic music and watch the famous toe dancing. We learned a bit about Ireland in the process. It is a very popular option so tickets are recommended in advance. Take the bus if you can since parking is limited.Visited April 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten May 4, 2024
- Fay B1 contributionJaw droppingThis was the highlight of my year!!! You can’t visit Killarney without stopping to see this amazing show. The dancers were incredible especially the blonde girl, Emer O’Sullivan. Her feet moved so fast I could hardly see them. And let’s not forget about Mr muscles who never missed a click or the silver fox in the corner on the guitar!!!! I was amazed by Aislings short but sweet solo performance. Without a doubt this is a must see cultural experience;)Visited May 2024Travelled with friendsWritten May 28, 2024
- Niamh M1 contributionUnforgettable experienceThis was an exceptional show. Everything was amazing from the dancers to the music. Darragh O’Donell was very funny throughout and made the show very entertaining. Two girls Emer and Aisling (sisters) are very talented and displaced some amazing Irish dancing. One of the highlights was the two men, Sean and Mark that danced, their footwork was unbelievable. Overall it was a great show and would 100% recommend for anyone passing near Killarney to go, for an unforgettable experience.Visited April 2024Travelled with friendsWritten May 28, 2024

- suburbanmommyOssining, New York149 contributionsGreat show! Our driver who picked us up in Dublin told us about the show. And then the next day, he texted us to see if we wanted tickets! He purchased them for us and made a dinner reservation for us at a pub in the town center. Wow!! So nice! The show was AMAZING! Both the dancers and musicians were incredibly talented. We were so glad that we had this experience. And we were so grateful that Kieran made all these arrangements for us including transportation to the show and back to our hotel. If you are in the area, this is a MUST SEE!Visited June 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten June 16, 2024

The dancers and musicians are highly rated and talented. The leader explains the different styles and instruments unique to Ireland. This is a very family friendly atmosphere and I could have enjoyed a longer program even though the show lasts nearly two hours. Simply outstanding!Visited August 2024Travelled with friendsWritten August 12, 2024

Celtic Steps Show In Killarney was one of the highlights of our vacation. The cast was phenomenal- the director was extremely engaging, entertaining and talented!
The musicians, dancers and singer were extraordinary!
Roisin- breathtaking performance and left me in tears when she sang. Brilliant and exciting performance. I highly recommend this show!
Yes, it was at a raceway, but for me the venue didn’t matter, the performance was the performance!! What a wonderful evening!!
Bravo to the Cast!!

I was delighted to have the opportunity to attend the opening night of Celtic Steps in
Killarney Race Course together with a Great Friend and we were both encapsulated within an Evening of Pure Irish Talent, after circumnavigating two years of rough seas, Hope for the Live music Industry is finally on the Horizon and Celtic Steps are leading the Industry
Hosted by Dave Rea and Sean Murphy, it was an amazing night of Irish Entertainment
As the show says “Celtic Steps The Show, brings together the raw talent of popular Irish dance with the authenticity of traditional Irish music” but you really have to experience the Talent of Mark Clifford together with Irish Dancers - Musicians an Entertainers to really appreciate Raw Talent. County Kerry is blessed with Talent and Celtic Steps is a mere Showcase of that Talent.
The show aims to provide a magical evening for its guests, taking them on a journey through the nation’s colorful past and history to present day Ireland through the language of music, song and of course, dance. Make no mistake this is a must see for every visitor to Killarney, but a word of caution!
David’s Skill on the bodhrán together with The Talent of Marks Irish Dancing encapsulates The spirit of the Irish Nation in a way seldom seen on stage, this will leave you with lasting memories and should you suddenly awaken in New Jersey - Boston or Perth or in fact any other part of the world and have a urge to awaken the neighbors with your own version of Celtic Steps be sure to have some Uisce beatha to hand, for a perfect Evening!!
You will be blown away by the talent of Mr. Edward Looney, pure Raw Talent!!
The music to me was almost as spectacular as the Dance. The show is a must see when visiting Killarney.
Thank you

We enjoyed the show very much - so much incredible talent!! Don’t be put off by the venue! We were a bit wary upon arriving at a race track and seeing how small the performance space was. But the setting made for a very intimate experience, and we found ourselves fully immersed in the incredible music and dancing. I was pleasantly surprised by how much our kids (ages 11 and 13) loved the show.

Wow, so impressed!’ I wasn’t sure what to expect but this was a group of seriously talented musicians and dancers that put on an incredible performance! To see the footwork required for Irish dancing so up close is just spectacular! The musicians were so incredible too. The guy who played the tin flute was unbelievable! If you have the slightest interest in music or dance, or have the ability to recognize world-class talent, just go. You will not be disappointed!

This show is absolutely amazing. The dancers are incredible as well as the musicians. It's really unbelievable how fast they can dance and play their instruments. Seating is open so sit close to the front if you can. Well worth the price of admission. A highlight of our trip to Ireland.

This was easily one of the best shows I have ever been to (the Eras Tour included - this group would give Taylor a run for her money!)
It is an incredibly polished performance - from a technical standpoint, it was virtually flawless. Somehow the group manages to maintain a relaxed and fun atmosphere, making it a perfect weekend activity!
There was a great mix of old and new songs, fast and slow songs, and each performer was given a moment to shine on their own which I really appreciated.
Be sure to get there at least 30 minutes early so you can get good seats - you’ll thank yourself for it later!

I would like to know if I can make a reservation for tonight . Thank you
Written August 18, 2018
Such a pity I didn't see this until now. I would certainly advise reserve your tickets, as during the Summer months there can be many busloads of tourists. Well worth the wait and sit at least half-way back (I'd suggest on the raised seating). It's a wonderful show. Hope you got to see it.

Is there parking available on site?
Written July 28, 2018
Yes but most of it is taken up by tour buses. I think there may be town parking nearby or in another area close to the theatre since it's located on the local racetrack.

Yes there is a senior discount, I believe it was 2Euro. I think the tickets were about 25 Euro....well worth the money. I would pay up to 40Euro for this performance. Brillant

How far is the Celtic Steps show from the Killarney Court Hotel? We will be staying 2 nights there and are interested in seeing this show.
Written April 22, 2016
The show is at the race track, and from our hotel in town it was just a few minutes bus ride. Probably the same for you. You could figure it out on Google Maps. You could take a taxi or Uber and it would be reasonable, I would think.
