We attended this performance of traditional Irish rural dance and singing. Visitors that expect it to be like River Dance may be disappointed as this is the older style of dance. The performers were very professional. Both dance and song were well performed.

We saw the Oilean show at Siamsa Tire on 1st August. We loved their energy and passion that they poured into the performance. It had a real authenticity. We loved it.

The show was beautiful with lot of dancing. The songs also are nice. Especially the first song: fainne gael an lae, also know as Raglan Road or in Holland as November by Rowwen Heze!

There can be different shows depending on when you go. But allow 2 hours approximately. .. check Siamsa on Google for better more precise information. But do go, you'll love the whole experience

Dear Jim, many thanks for your query and interest in Siamsa Tíre. The on-line booking doesn't allow you to pick a seat, I'm afraid, but you will be allocated a particular seat on the night of a performance. The auditorium... More
